Introduction Products Solutions Accreditations

Defence

The Ministry of Defence were among the first customers of Stonewood’s  hardware encrypted drives.

Today, all the UK armed forces (Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force) as well Defence suppliers, scientists and service providers use a combination of FlagStone,  Eclypt  Baseline and Eclypt Enhanced Encrypted Hard Drives to ensure the security of their strategic and mission-sensitive data.

The Eclypt range of products, with both internal and external drives, has received CAPS (CESG Assisted Products Scheme) accreditation to protect data up to Top Secret and DIPCOG (Defence Infosec Product Co-Operation Group) approval.

The Eclypt range (both Internal and External drives) are available with either Rotating or Solid State disks. Solid State drives provide increased performance and and wider operating ranges which of particular interest for airborne or in-vehicle applications.

DIPCOG (Defence Infosec Product Co-Operation Group) product description and application notes are MoD’s instruction that describe to MoD personnel  how to use and deploy Eclypt drives. Click on the right to download the relevant DIPCOG notes.

HMG versions of the Eclypt drives (Eclypt Enhanced or Baseline models) require Sales Authorisation by CESG prior to your order being processed. Please Email: Robert.Palmer@stonewood.co.uk to request the CESG Sales Authorisation Form.

Click on the right to download the Impact Level Chart that links the Impact Level of the data to be protected to the particular Eclypt model required.
